Llia Apostolou tweeted her request for a date to her sister's wedding back in 2014. And, with one tweet, the seed for a blossoming love story was planted.

A chap called Phil Gibson replied to Apostolou saying he was game, and he even had a suit to wear. Bonus!

"See you at the altar," wrote Apostolou. Ooh, flirty!

The banter didn't end there.

"It's a date! Just a date though, right?" Gibson responded.

Three years later, Apostolou met Gibson at the altar and she married him!

She clarified that she and Gibson didn't end up going to her sister's wedding together, but they did meet IRL for the first time that week.

Since tying the knot on Wednesday, the couple has been posting lovely updates to the place she and her husband met: Twitter.

Romance isn't dead, you guys.
